Last week I had a addressed a little 'hater" moment and I wasn't expecting what came next. Many of you reached out to me with support, encouragement, and loads of kindness. It reminded me of something really important and that's that not everyone is going to understand what you're doing. THEY DON'T HAVE TO.
The right people will always find you, support you and hype you up. The ones that don't just aren't your people. If you've ever felt judged, talked about, or unsupported then this episode is for you.

Construction Hey hey, welcome back to I Know a Girl, the cozy corner of the internet where we hype each other up, get a little raw and real, and remember, healing is hot. I'm your host, Morgan, and I want to start off this episode with thanking everybody for the messages that I got last week. The ones that were saying sorry for those shitty people that were listening in and talking shit about my episodes. Well, I want to say I don't want you to feel sorry for me in the slightest bit because I don't want anyone to feel sorry for me at all. All right. And the reason why I say that is because everybody has haters or fans, okay? And that's exactly what those people are, is they are haters. Maybe they don't even know it yet, but they're obviously mad in love with me or obsessed with me in some type of way that they keep having to tune in every week and talking about me because they don't have anything else to talk about in their own lives. You would think that they would be busy or successful doing something else that, you know, they wouldn't have time to tune in every week and talk about me. But I also want to point out that if you don't have haters or fans like that in your life, then you're not living life for yourself just yet. And you're probably looking at me or thinking about, like, what the fuck? Just hear me out, okay? You might not even be self-aware about it just yet, all right? So hear me out. I feel like it doesn't matter who you are, somebody is gonna be upset by something that you're doing, okay? Even when you're minding your own business and doing something good with your life, there's always going to be somebody that's displeased with something that you're doing, okay? And if you're thinking, oh, I don't have haters or I don't have people that are like that, girl, I promise you, if you take a step back and realize that there's people in your life that aren't always showing up for you, maybe not even supporting you, not cheering you on, not hyping you up, like those people aren't for you. You you have people that like show up for you sometimes, don't show up for you at all, but like still hang around. Those are not your people, okay? You want people that are always supporting you. They're always cheering you on, they're always hyping you up, they're literally eating up everything about you every time that you're around, okay? Those are the people that that have good intentions. They're not making little side comments, pick it apart your every move, or when you're doing something good for yourself. They're really, truly there for you. And you'll you'll know. And, you know, maybe you don't have very many people that are like that, or maybe you only have one person that's like that, or maybe you don't have any at all. That's completely okay, okay? It just means that you're about to become that person. You're about to show them the example. You're gonna become the example, I should say. You're now gonna start showing people how to show up like that. Because if you're not showing up for yourself and you're not being your own hype woman, then how the fuck is somebody else supposed to do that for you? You know, those that love you for you want to show up for you. And after you start putting in the work to do this and you felt like you didn't have haters or fans before, I promise you they're gonna start showing themselves to you now. It's almost like a big test from the universe. Are you gonna stay focused on yourself and your own intentions, or are you going to worry about someone else's intentions? And let me give you a little secret. Worrying is wasting energy. I know this probably sounds like, you know, duh. You're I know this, Morgan, right? And and I know it's easier said than done. But when you focus on what you can control, like your own intentions, things start to multiply for you, okay? Think back to when you were a kid, okay? And someone probably made a comment to you that didn't sit well with you. Probably seemed like a dab, right? But you kept telling yourself, oh, they're a friend or they're a family member and they love me. They didn't mean to hurt me. That was your first test. That was the first test that, you know, to see if you were gonna ignore the bad energy or feed in and give it attention and maybe even worse, change yourself to not be a bother to that person. But guess what? Whether it started as when you were a kid or while being an adult, we're not doing that anymore. But guess what? Let me tell you what we are going to keep doing. We're gonna keep vibing, we're gonna keep doing our own thing, minding our own business, taking care taking care of ourselves and those around us that we love. And I promise you, when you're focusing on yourself, your people are watching. They may not say anything right away, but they are watching. And the more that you just sit in your power and shine with good intentions, the more you're going to attract that same energy right back to you. Right? I've said it on here before. Energy attracts energy. So if you want good energy around you, you need to be the good energy. And the more you sit in your power, the more you shine with good intentions, the more you're going to attract that same energy back to you, people are going to start seeing you. They're going to start seeing your story, they're going to start being admired by you. Someone's going to learn something from you. Maybe even gain a different perspective from you. Those are your people. Okay? So by the time this airs, it will be the first week of May. And May is mental health awareness month. So I got a little challenge for you, okay? If you see someone doing something that you like or admire, I want you to tell them, okay? It doesn't have to be this big old grand thing, right? Just give them a compliment. Like, hey, I see what you're doing, and I think it's badass. Keep it up. And I bet you, they'll one, put a smile on their face. And two, you're gonna give them a moment that they will never forget. So, with that being said, I'm gonna get into my little joy of the week. And I actually have a few for you, okay? So the first one is I went out on a little sushi date with my girls, and we had a fucking blast, okay? Colton even went with us because we were just having a rough freaking day before it. And that's a story for another time if anybody really cares to hear it, but I could sense that he was getting a little uptight and that he needed to break away, right? So I forced him to come with us. And the whole ride there, he was very anxious. I could tell. He kept saying, like, oh, I got this to worry about when we get back, and this and this. And I was just like, you know what? I need to just shut up. And I need you to just forget about that stuff that you have to do while we're there, okay? And he's not really a sushi person at all. Like, well, um, he's not a sushi person. Let's just put that out there, right? So the fact that he was even going was very much out of his comfort zone, okay? And my friend that was going with us said that they had normal food. Well, we're going through the menu, and Colton goes, Oh, where's the normal food? And she, you know, switches it over to what she calls normal food. And it was like a bunch of stuff that, like, I guess you could say is not normal. When I and when we think of normal, we think of like chicken tenders or chicken nuggets, french fries, burgers, like something that's like common around here, you know what I mean? And there was not that at all. It was actually, it was more like hibachi stuff, which he liked hibachi, but that was not that was not the normal that he was looking for. And so he did try a few things. I'm very proud of him for that. And the other one of my friends that went with us, she also tried a few things. She's not a sushi girl either, but she did find a few things that she did like. So I would dare say that it was a great time. And and it was a great time. The entire time we were just like vibing, having fun. Excuse me if you could hear my dog in the background, trying to ignore him. Hopefully, you can't hear him. We were vibing along and having a really great time. And as we were trying new foods and and having a great time, we were literally just like planning even more dates, and we had a ton of angel number confirmations throughout the entire day, like after the sushi date. Well, as we were walking in, we got one. And then while we were there, I got one, and then after we left, I got another one. So it really was just a great time. But then I also went and supported a loved one at their event. She was celebrating her two-year anniversary being open, and I had a great time. I even bonded with another friend that was there, and I learned a few things while I was there too. It was really fun. Um, I also got to talk to my grandma. She called and asked how the sprouts have been on my totem pole plant that she sent me. And uh, I have six little nubs poking through the bark. I even have one little sprout that's poking through, and she said, Oh, you little stinker, mine only has three. And so I thought that was really cool. We even got to bond a little bit over the phone about our gardens, and that's who's been inspiring me to get my garden up and going, is my grandma because she lives in an apartment complex and talked the property manager into letting her start a garden on the property. And so she plants all sorts of veggies, she does a couple of hanging baskets from her patio, she makes it look really great there. Oh, we upgraded Jade's bed to a big girl bed. I mean, it she had a twin before. I don't want you to think that she was like in a crib or anything, but she went from a twin to a full. And uh her uncle gave her his old bed frame. So let me tell you, the smile that was on this little girl's face after we put it together, she got a new mattress and bed set to go with it. It was it was huge. Her smile was huge, literally from ear to ear. She even then changed the decorations around in her room to go go along with where her bed, her new bed is. Um, I've been doing more tarot card readings and I've been getting lots of practice in. I'm loving it. Um it's fueling me even more. Like it's crazy. I the first few readings that I've been doing and stuff and talking on here, like I've been excited, but I didn't know like this excitedness could get even bigger. It's crazy. And not only have I been getting practice in with doing tarot readings, but I also got a few more people interested in astrology and looking into their birth chart and their human design chart. So this has been really, really fun. And then um another one of my girlfriends has been actually the one that I went to sushi with this weekend, has been manifesting being a streamer and playing Fortnite with the Jonas Brothers because she absolutely loves the Jonas Brothers. We haven't played with the Jonas Brothers just yet, but another one of our friends that we do play with recorded one of our games where we got a victory royale and uploaded it to YouTube. And I let my kids watch it the other day. And let me tell you, you should have seen their faces. The rest of the night they thought that it was absolutely cool. And uh even my daughter was asking if we beat any streamers that they watch. And I have no idea because I haven't been paying attention to people's names when I knock them, but I'm gonna have to now. So I guess now I can get into our horoscope pipe. Alright, we're gonna start with Aries. Aries, I want you to release the need to chase what hurts just because it feels familiar. You need to trust that what is meant for you will not require you to fight for it. You're allowed to walk away. Taurus, I hope you're ready to let go of what feels safe, but no longer serves you. I hope you trust to handle change even when it feels uncomfortable. You're allowed to outgrow what once felt like home. Gemini, I hope you allow yourself to be fully seen, not just understood in parts. I hope you open your heart enough for real connection to find you and realize that you are safe to be known in your own depth. Cancer, I hope you know you no longer have to give from a place of emptiness. Choose who has access to you with care. I hope you know you are worthy of love that meets you, not drains you. Leo, I hope you learn to release the need to earn love through how much you give. You are valued for who you are, not what you offer. You're allowed to receive without overextending yourself. Virgos. I hope you let go of the belief that you need to fix yourself to be worthy. You need to choose acceptance over constant self-improvement. You are enough just the way that you are in this exact moment. Libras, I hope you honor your truth even when it creates discomfort. You no longer need to abandon yourself to keep the peace. Your voice matters, and I hope you choose to use it. Scorpios, you need to allow yourself to feel safe without constant protection. Open yourself up to connection without assuming you're gonna get hurt. Maybe try to trust that not everything is here to hurt you. Sagittarius, keep moving forward even when things become real or uncertain. I hope you know that you no longer have to run from depth or discomfort. Maybe try to trust that what you're seeking exists. Capricorns. I hope you release the belief that your worth is tied to what you achieve and allow yourself to rest without guilt. You are enough, even when you're not producing. Aquarius, I hope you allow yourself to be seen even when it feels vulnerable. To stay open to connection without pulling away. It's safe to be both independent and deeply known. Pisces, I hope you see people clearly, not just for who they could be. Choose love that's real, not just potential. And I hope you trust yourself to walk away from what is not right for you. All right, let's get into our tarot particle of the episode. What's the universe gotta tell us that? All right, so the card that we pulled is the two of wands. And the two of wands embodies foresight in the early stages of planning. It suggests a phase of progress where decisions pave the way for discovery and adventure. This card often signals the start of a journey or the expansion of horizons. Well, isn't that just fitting for this episode? Because we're starting on a journey where we're, you know, no longer doing shit to please other people. We're standing in our own power. We're not letting people take our energy no more. So yeah. This is amazing. The universe always just comes in clutch for us, doesn't it? Well, I hope this was a good episode for you guys. I know it's gonna resonate for somebody. Stop letting people get to you. You are meant to be here, you're meant to create, you are meant to just be. And if that bothers somebody, well, that's their fucking problem, right? Right. So yeah. Give me a follow on Instagram, give me a follow on TikTok, and please, please, please review the podcast wherever you listen. Um, it helps more people find me and you know, feel safe. Help me out, give me a review, give me a follow. It helps more people find us. I don't say I don't want to say me, I want to say us because without your guys' support, this would be nothing. So let's find our people. Let them know that they are special and that they're not alone in this world. All right. I love you guys. Um, I'm going to start putting together the giveaway for the podcast. So keep watching my stories, keep watching my Instagram page, Facebook, TikTok. That's where I'm gonna post it. I guess I'll see you guys next week. And don't forget, this is mental health awareness month, so make sure you're spoiling yourself so then you can also love those around you. And uh yeah, I'll see you next week back here, your favorite cozy corner of the internet. All right, I love you, have a great week, keep that smile on your face, adjust the crown. I love you. Bye!
